First introduced as the Flames primary jersey in 2007-08 as the second iteration to use the black C crest, this team look has been with the club for the better part of 14 seasons. It was worn as the team's alternate jersey in its final season and is now officially no longer an active design that the team wears.

This special logo was featured in the Flames 1999-2000 season and appeared as a decal on the player’s helmets all season long while the jerseys featured a special commemorative year 2000 NHL patch.
The inaugural home jersey for the Flames when they first entered the league in 1980, the "Away Retro" was actually never the team's road jersey until the 2020-21 season. The jersey pattern was the club's home jersey until 1994 when the team changed its white home sweater design completely.
